Event Vocabulary.

Most of the logic on the website is based on the ID of the SRA member. This ID is tied to a field called SRAName which is strictly formatted. For instance, "Smith, John and Anne" for a couple and "Jones, Robert" for a single. ID and SRAName are unique to a membership. This is very restrictive for what we want to show in the SRA web pages. For some web pages it is desirable to display just one of a couple. For the purposes of logic there can be only one ID (of Principal Chair) for an event. If there are co-chairs one of the co-chairs is assigned as Principal Chair for an event. An event Reservation Taker may be only one of a couple or could be assigned to another SRA member. If the Reservation Taker is assigned to another SRA member the name of the Reservation Taker could be different from any of the Co-Chairs.

Principal Chair - The SRAName (with ID) of the chair (or one of the co-chairs) of an Event.
Reservation Taker - The name of the person taking event reservations. This is accompanied by that person's phone and email. The default is the SRA name of the chair.
Event Coordinator - These are all the people that have privileges to add, edit, or cancel member reservations on-line. Chairs, Co-chairs, Reservation Takers, and maybe others must also be Event Coordinators.

The web page for events with meals display menues. Here are the types:

Long Menu: The full menu the appears on the event web page.
Short Menu: The short version of a menu choice that appears in the drop-down for menu choices when adding, cancelling, or editing a reservation.
